This policy says what may be listed on TopSlash, how we check it, and what happens when something is removed. It is part of the Terms of Service. By submitting a website you confirm: "I have authority to list this product and I accept the Listing Policy and Terms."
1. What may be listed
A listing must describe a working SaaS or app through its understandable public product website. Eligible examples include web, mobile and desktop apps, APIs, developer tools and plugins. You must own the product or have authority to list it.
Ranking does not require a deal. A genuinely free product can be promoted through rank-only listing, labeled Free with an appropriate Get the app or Visit website button. A free download with paid features must say so. Normal free access cannot be presented as a discounted listing, a fictitious former price or limited discount inventory.
A discount listing requires a paid annual plan with a genuine percentage saving. A free basic tier or free download can coexist with an eligible discount on a separate premium annual plan. Identify exactly which paid plan and features are discounted. Free trials alone are not paid annual discounts.
Vendors select their supported discounts and quantities. 60%, 40% and 25% are editable suggestions, not compulsory tiers. Connected Stripe campaigns use one, two or three tiers and at most 50 purchases total. Native campaigns use one fixed annual discount and at most 50 TopSlash link claims. The Vendor Terms explain eligibility, store requirements and the difference between claims and purchases.
Complete provider compatibility before purchasing a discount campaign. Unsupported providers can be requested; rank-only advertising remains available where the product otherwise qualifies.
2. What may not be listed
We reject, and we remove, listings in these categories:
- Adult or sexual content.
- Gambling or betting.
- Drugs or controlled substances.
- Weapons.
- Malware, or software that distributes malware.
- Phishing.
- Impersonation of a person, a company, or a product.
- Deceptive financial schemes.
- Get-rich-quick claims.
- Illegal services, or services that facilitate illegal activity.
- Material copyright or trademark abuse, including pirated software and counterfeit products.
- Sites that do not load, or that load only an error, a parked page, or a placeholder.
- Sites with no understandable product.
- Dangerous or misleading redirects, including redirects to a different domain than the one submitted.
- Domains known to be malicious, as reported by the reputation services we use.
This list is not a complete list of everything we may refuse. We may reject or remove any listing that we believe is unsafe, misleading, unlawful, or harmful to users or to the Service.
3. Safety and eligibility screening
When you submit a URL, we run automated checks: we validate the URL, resolve and check the destination, load the page safely, check the domain against reputation services, extract the public product information, take a screenshot, and screen the page's text with automated classifiers. If every check passes, the listing is ready for you to review and publish with a Paid Rank payment, usually within a couple of minutes. If any check is uncertain, the listing goes to a person for a quick look, usually within 24 hours. If a check fails clearly, the listing is rejected and we tell you the safe reason (for example, "site did not load" or "content could not be understood as an eligible SaaS or app") and how to appeal.
Safety screening uses automated checks plus human review of exceptions. Passing a check is not an endorsement or buyer-access verification. It means the site passed our safety and content screen at the time we checked. We do not test the product, we do not verify its quality, and we do not verify prices beyond what the Vendor Terms require.
Payment never exempts a listing from verification, moderation, re-checks, removal, or any part of this policy. Every listing faces the same content and safety rules.
Published listings are re-checked: a daily safety check against reputation services, and a weekly check that the site still loads. A site that fails the safety check is unpublished immediately. A site that fails to load three weekly checks in a row is unpublished as "site unreachable". You can ask for a re-scan from your dashboard (once a day) after fixing a problem.
We do not disclose the internal details of our checks, and we do not share the raw output of our classifiers or reputation sources.
4. Product identity and multiple campaigns
The vendor and product retain a shared identity and moderation history. Supported promotional flows may create separately ranked entries for that same product; each has its own ranking contribution. Paying to create or duplicate an entry does not erase complaints, previous offers or enforcement history.
Ordinary capacity is five active campaigns per vendor across credit sources. Up to ten may overlap only through consecutive allocations of the same continuous subscription, as described in the Vendor Terms. Two one-off five-packs do not grant ten simultaneous campaigns. Do not resubmit a removed product to evade moderation; appeal instead.
5. Accuracy duties
After verification, you confirm or correct the product name, tagline, description, category, app type or platform, logo, screenshot, pricing page link, and optional X handle. You must make sure they are true, and keep them true. Edits are re-screened and may be held for review. You must not:
- Describe features or prices the product does not have.
- Use another company's name, logo, or trademark in a way that suggests a connection that does not exist.
- Pick a category that does not fit in order to appear on a smaller board.
- Stuff the listing with keywords, or write text meant to trick our checks or to mislead visitors.
If you sell a deal, the accuracy duties in the Vendor Terms also apply, including the former-price rule for the normal annual price.
6. Removal, appeal, and history
Removal. We may unpublish a listing at any time, with or without notice, for a breach of this policy, the Terms of Service, or the Vendor Terms, for a failed re-check, for a credible report, for a legal demand, or to protect users. When we unpublish, we email you the reason category and a link to appeal. The listing page shows "This listing was removed". New sales or claims are stopped. Pending connected checkouts are reconciled before their reservations are released; we do not promise no charge merely because a page was removed. Native claim history and copied store links remain subject to the store's rules.
What is kept. The listing's placement total and its complete bid history are kept and stay public. Unpublishing never changes a total. If the listing is republished, it returns to the position its total produces at that time. See the Ranking Rules.
Appeal. You may appeal a rejection or a removal within 14 days of our email, from the appeal page while signed in, or by emailing support@topslash.app from the address on your account. State what happened and what you have fixed. We decide within 5 business days and email you the outcome. If we accept, the listing is republished. If we deny, the listing stays removed; a denied appeal can be reopened only by us.
Refunds. Removal for a reason you caused does not refund placement payments. Removal for our own error within 7 days of a payment may. See the Refund & Finality Rules.
Withdrawing your own listing. You may unpublish your own listing from your dashboard at any time and republish it later, unless your account is banned. There is no refund for withdrawing.
7. Reports
Anyone may report a listing from its page where reporting is enabled, or by emailing support@topslash.app, for malware, phishing, adult content, scam, impersonation, a broken site, or another reason. We review every report. One report per visitor per listing is accepted. False or abusive reports may lead to a ban.
8. Bans
We ban accounts for serious or repeated breaches, for fraud, for listing without authority, for evading a removal, or for abuse of reports or appeals. When we ban an account, all its listings are unpublished, its deals are ended, pending checkouts are reconciled, and its future submissions are blocked. Bans are not refunded.
9. Publication, Paid Rank, and deal access
Publication and Paid Rank remain subject to safety and eligibility checks. Paid rank survives ordinary campaign expiry or exhaustion, although its position can change as others pay. A $19 standalone campaign buys 30 days and supplies the stated initial ranking contribution. Ordinary campaign renewal adds no rank; optional rank payments do.
A new ranked entry funded with $20 includes one optional 30-day campaign credit tied to that entry, once. Using that credit adds no further rank. It does not let an otherwise ineligible product publish a discount campaign. One-off packs and recurring allocations follow the prices, expiry and cancellation rules in the Vendor Terms.
Ending a campaign stops its new offer availability. It does not shorten a buyer's annual subscription, erase rank or remove product history. An explicit extension preserves remaining inventory; a fresh campaign consumes another credit and creates new capped inventory. Pausing does not extend a campaign. Deleting a campaign ends it permanently while keeping the product, paid rank, transaction history and existing purchases. Live editing follows the Vendor Terms, including increases only to supported discount percentages and fixed tier counts and quantities.
Earlier purchases keep their accepted terms and earned rights. Refunds and disputes may reverse the affected ranking contribution or unused credit entitlement under the Refund & Finality Rules. Fraud or payment restrictions cannot be cleared merely by buying another listing.
